Give Me Your Tears♾️
Wholeness and Transformation
I cried and sobbed, why I was crying so profusely, like someone who had been beaten, I don’t know what propelled me, but it was real, not some sort of stage play or mastered lines…. But did a transformational work start in me? Yes!
Some encounters don't leave you the same. I thought to myself
It must be why we hear statements after powerful meetings like “You will never recover from this one”, it is not a curse or a sort of ill-luck spell, it's speaking into reality the tendencies of carrying a weight that supersedes human reasoning.
Love stories with God are always the sweetest! Mind you, the story doesn't just become automatically sweet, it's always a product of sacrifices, pains, happy moments, consecration and full commitment to God.
The amazing thing about love stories with God is this, He takes no record of your past deeds as long as you are ready to be made new. If you doubt this, think about Paul…. I read a few chapters of the book of Acts and was subsequently astonished at how Paul by the power of the Holy Spirit had transformed into an ardent preacher of the gospel
The same man who was a prosecutor of the Christians.
The same man who when Stephen was being martyred, allowed the men to remove their garments at his feet while he was stoned.
God is the only one who picks up an ugly past, erases it and goes on to use the person mightily as a productive vessel.
I call this one GIVE ME YOUR TEARS because many want to cry out to God but are afraid of being called or appearing weak.
When I'm helpless, I cry
When I'm confused and I don't know what next to do I cry
I become as a Child, dependent on my Chief caretaker, God
This season has been the one that says “Fiyinfoluwa, just hold my hands and everything will become possible. Just hold on to me”
”looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.“
Hebrews 12:2 NKJV
He despised the shame of hanging on the cross to have you to Himself and provide us with the hope of eternal life.
Become Like a Child and give Him your tears
Seek Him with the whole of your heart. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness.
Wholeness and Transformation begin when you see more of Jesus and less of yourself.
Truly seek Him
You will find Him! He will meet you halfway
Rooting for you!
