Look at you! Bold, resilient and undaunted in the face of hardship. I admire you in every way and I have regard for you because you haven't given up! You have stayed strong, you have kicked Miss Fortune (misfortune) in the gut and said "one person has to surrender and that's not me”. Stirred up in you is the moxie to survive, to persist... Your vigour is incredulous and I thank God in every remembrance of you. (Philippians 1:3).
Since my last newsletter, a lot has happened. Both personally and in the nation. I saw the remains of the terrible accident that happened at Ojuelegba on the 29th of January, a Sunday. I couldn't comprehend how a 7 seating-capacity bus, had gone down to the ground like a slipper, one could barely tell that that was a bus. I saw shattered glass, like sugar on the ground, spread all around the road. I thought of the lives affected and how they would have stepped out without knowing anything in such a manner was going to happen.
Should we talk about the earthquake that hit Southern Turkey/ Northern Syria on the 6th of February now claiming over 46,000 lives?
In a minute, I want you to pause and reflect. I want you to thank God for your life. For the air that you breathe, He is your raison d’etre. Appreciate Him genuinely for keeping you and your loved ones intact. Whenever you're done, you can continue to read.
It's a wonder how so much can happen in days though. The revival at Asbury University has been one of the greatly circulating things on the net for over a week, it's very beautiful to see over a thousand people yearning for and worshipping God. It's a beautiful sight to see and this kind of revival isn't new to Asbury as a similar event happened in the year 1970 when people went on for days honouring our Lord and Savior.
The school had to cancel classes for a week. That is how intense it is. I still get goosebumps now when I think deeply about it.
This week is perhaps going to be one of the most memorable for Nigerians. It's the week the country elections to vote for a new government would be held. I am not a Tinubu fan, and neither am I an Atikulate fellow. I'm not even sure I want to be Obidient, lol. But above all, all I pray for is that the will of God will stand. Only God’s counsel will rule in Nigeria. Amen.
Before we call this another newsletter I want to share a quote but better-off prophecy by Sydney Grandville Elton concerning Nigeria said in the 20th century.
"Nigeria will be known for corruption
Worldwide, but the tide will turn and
Nigeria will also be known for righteousness
Worldwide. Many shall take hold of him that
Is a Nigerian saying, 'We will go with you, for
We have heard that God is with you’.”
-S.G Elton.

Beloved, you and I shall eat the good of this land. Have a great week ahead and don't forget to vote wisely.

And pray again!
I'll be back in a week 🤍
