No, this is not about Spyro. Lol.
I was on a call with a friend yesterday and he was telling me about how important it is to place intentionality and value the people you say you care about, or in other words your friends.
I was telling him about how sometimes, I do not have the motivation to talk to people or I just want to be on my own but he said "you must make sure in everything you are doing, the spirit of God is involved you are not walking or thriving on your own will. You are solely relying on God and His will, you want to know what He will have you do, and you want him to help you evaluate your friendship circle. Those were his words.
So I was wondering about having the express will of God and not the permissive. You know sometimes when we want to venture into something we become so carried away that we forget to ask God for His final say or what His will, would be. Instead, what we do is this, we go on to make these plans ourselves and when we begin to have issues, we come back to God and say "why are you not with me on this have you turned your back on me? ” when in the real sense we did not even bring Him into it in the first place.
I'd ask you one question, who truly is your guy? Your flesh or God’s will? You or God?
What I’m saying is this, never should you go on or embark on something when you have not confirmed from will would be concerning that person or project or just anything. Because without having the backing of God, when you are crushed, it will be kind of harder to find solace in Him.
Today is Monday, I want you to start the week right, prioritise what you have to do, discard whatever would slow down your progress this week and make sure you study the word, pray and stay charged in your spirits and when the devil is trying to make you feel like you are drifting off the path, always remind him that you stand for God. And the only way you can prove that is by consistently studying the word, fasting and praying.
That is your answer. I love you so much and I’m not writing so much today. I’d write to you again next week but until then take care.
PS In today's open heavens devotional, the key point says our slogan henceforth should be "No Bible, No breakfast”. It is a challenge!
For Genz(s) I’d recommend No Bible, No Social media. Yes, face the challenge. Who would win your love?
This applies to me too so don't think of me as a superwoman. Lol.
I'm rooting for you
Love,
Fiyinfoluwa.❤️
💞💞💞, related to this so much. This has literally been everywhere. In one of the open heavens last week, the teenagers copy, the message was telling us define our relationships, and which better way that invite God, if he's truly the first in our lives.
Amen fiyin.
